Four generations in removals - and still going
Cheshire Removals and Storage is a family business with roots stretching back to the early 1900s. Michael Fahey’s grandfather, Patrick, first started the family in removals with a hand cart – progressing to a horse and cart, and then to motorised vehicles around 1950. Four generations of Faheys have worked the trade in total.
The company was formally incorporated under the Cheshire Removals name in 1994, giving us over 30 years trading from the same Stockport depot. Michael represents the third generation running the business today, with over 50 years of combined removal experience across the wider team.
What hasn’t changed in more than a century is how we work. We treat every customer’s belongings like our own.
